With today’s technology and yesterday's moral compass, Lalla puts her customer’s needs first. It was our experience she clearly and responsively communicates with everyone she interacts with. My wife and I met Lalla six months prior to the purchase of our home, through an open house she was hosting as a seller’s agent. We liked her right away as she is both personable and professional. We did not have an agent at that time, and she had no problem still talking with us about the home she was selling, our own search, and our experiences with other agents and real estate companies. We liked the home she was selling but chose not to submit an offer on that home so early in our search. Not surprisingly the home ended up selling for more than the seller was asking for very quickly. We chose to hire Lalla to help us in our search soon after meeting her. We looked at several homes with her, and she always came to view homes with us having done her homework. She was able to answer all of our questions and when we asked her what she thought a home would go for, she provided sound advice and gave us documentation on current comparable home sales in the area. She encouraged us to only submit offers we thought the home was worth and only what we knew we could afford. After we were outbid a number of times, she continued to encourage us and didn't try to get us to increase our offers beyond our means, telling us eventually one of our bids would get accepted and we would not up. When we were out of town in Florida, Lalla reached out with a property she had found while we were otherwise engaged. We told her we were out of town and she said to us, no problem - she went out to the property for us, and we viewed the property with her through her phone. She again answered all of our questions, even when we asked her if she smelt anything the bad. She drafted our offer and sent it to us in Florida, we reviewed it and signed it through her online system, and she then submitted it for us. She handled the back-and-forth negotiations, and our offer was eventually accepted all while we were out of town. After we completed the purchase and closed on the property, she went through the property again with us and helped us identify and resolve immediate needs like new smoke detectors and eGFI outlets and she made sure we were taken care of. Lalla has a team of people that work with her that she has identified as aligning with her values of caring about people, caring about their customers, and not just looking out for themselves. Some real estate companies are now gouging their customers charging an additional fee that shows up on a closing statement above their 3% commission. Lalla and Remax do not do this and that’s just one more reason it is our pleasure to highly recommend Lalla Fitzpatrick and Remax for anything having to do with real estate today. We have already passed her information on to our friends and family and will be using her again ourselves when the time arises.
